Geographically narrow, culturally robust; welcome to Chile! Dominated by the Andes and the Pacific on a strip of land that runs up South America’s southwestern coast, Chile boasts a mix of European and Indigenous influences that imbue the country with an old-world charm. The Mediterranean-like climate in the southern wine valleys has propelled its oenological offerings to international acclaim; and nowhere is this more evident than during your time at the Viña Vik, recently named one of the world’s best new hotels by Travel + Leisure magazine, and the Casa Bouchon, a luxury hacienda-style property set amid the vineyards of the Maule Valley.
