Biking – 40-50 km (25-30 mi.) a day over relatively flat terrain with a few small hills—all very manageable for people trying their first biking trip.
Walking – 6-10 km (4-6 mi.) a day on country lanes, footpaths and coastal or forest trails, all on relatively flat terrain, perhaps with an occasional hill.
Biking – 40-50 km (25-30 mi.) a day over terrain that’s relatively flat but will include inclines and the occasional climb or two.
Walking – 8-12 km (5-7 mi.) a day over relatively flat terrain, with occasional steeper climbs.
Biking – 40-50 km (25-30 mi.) a day in gently rolling countryside, with occasional longer climbs to points that are well worth the effort.
Walking – 11-15 km (7-10 mi.) a day over rolling terrain on a variety of surfaces. Most days, one or two steeper climbs to spectacular viewpoints or places of interest.

Biking – 50-60 km (30-45 mi.) a day over both level and tougher, hillier terrain with multiple 100 km (62 mi.) options. The routes are designed for avid cyclists and include plenty of chances to push yourself.
Walking – 11-15 km (7-10 mi.) a day over fairly hilly terrain offering lots of challenges. Routes are along high meadow paths and/or well-maintained cliffside or alpine trails, with a few steep ascents to make you feel invigorated.
Immerse your family in the culture of Vietnam! Ride past rice paddies interspersed with ancestral tombs and water buffalo. For the kids, there’s basket boat racing, conical hat making, scavenger hunts and a beach paradise. REQUEST A QUOTEWe’ll meet you at the airport and assist with your visa before whisking you away to central Hanoi. After some time to freshen up at your hotel, we will take you on a leisurely walk around the nearby Hao Kiem lake to stretch your legs and dine on a local lunch.
Take a walking tour through Hanoi’s Old Quarter, packed with charming colonial architecture, Buddhist temples, and pagodas. If your legs are feeling strong, you can climb up the Hanoi Flag Tower: an old observation that provides great panoramic views out over the city.
After a quick flight to Danang, you'll cycle through the countryside and into colourful market stalls and shops of Hoi An. Tonight, meet our friend Duc at his restaurant for a sample of Vietnam’s best fusion cuisine.
This morning, your bike ride takes you through a local pottery village, where you'll have the chance to try your hand at this ancient art form. The ride ends with a lesson in Vietnamese cuisine; an event that promises to keep you entertained, trained and well-fed.
Venture up Marble Mountain, a group of five small hills made from limestone and marble and a famous pilgrimage site with peaks, caves, tunnels and temples. After lunch at a family-run restaurant, visit a local jewellery shop where you’ll make some of your own creations.
Head into the market to watch the women haggle over the day’s fresh fish catch. After an authentic 'pho' breakfast, take a ride around Hoi An, passing through traditional rice paddies interspersed with ancestral tombs, water buffalo and hundreds of smiling children.
After breakfast head to Danang for a flight to Saigon! Following a quick stop at the hotel, you'll be shown around town on a motorbike tour of the city, taking in landmarks such as the War Museum, Quan Am Pagoda, and Binh Tay Market.
Visit the colonial and historic sites of Saigon before a visit to the War Remnants Museum to retrace the history of Vietnam during the 20th C. Your guide will take you to their favourite market-style restaurant for lunch before returning to your hotel for an afternoon of relaxation.
